Forced Void Authorization

By the forced void authorization operation, you can cancel the pending confirmation (performed during the current day in implicit or explicit mode) and simultaneously obtain the void of the authorization and the consequent release in real time of the cardholder's credit card money supply ceiling.

Forced Void Authorisation operation is supported by the following payment methods::

  • Credit cards, debit cards and prepaid

Forced Void Authorisation operation is IRREVERSIBLE.

Behaviour of the system in case of error in the forced void authorization phase

When incorrect parameters are sent (e.g. unknown terminal, incorrect password, attempt to reverse a payment already reversed in full, …) the Gateway responses with an error message in XML format.

This message includes:

  • an error code
  • a mnemonic description of the error
