3D Secure Payment

This solution represents the evolution of the previous 3 Steps Payment method, which is currently deprecated.

This flow allows you to make card payments using 3D Secure authentication, in Server to Server mode. As the name of the solution suggests, the payment is divided into two phases:

1. Verify 3D Secure registration and authentication: in the first phase we proceed with 3D Secure authentication.
2. Payment: in the second phase, if successful in the 3D Secure authentication, proceed with the payment.

Payment flow:

1. The customer enters the card data on the merchant's e-commerce and proceeds to payment.
2. The merchant's server initiates payment via API call POST /v2/svs/order/init.
3. The API returns the "threeDSAuthUrl" and "operationId" parameters, which are required to perform the 3D Secure authentication.
4. The merchant's server redirects the customer to the authorization system via a POST request in the format of a form submission:

threeDSAuthUrl Address returned in response to the API POST /v2/svs/order/init. URL of the card issuer to authenticate to. 5. The customer proceeds with 3D Secure authentication.
6. At the end of the authentication, the customer is redirected to the "ReturnUrl" address with the result of the authentication.
7. The merchant's server proceeds with the payment via the API POST /v2/svs/operation/{operationId}/pay
8. The gateway returns the payment result.
9. The merchant's server shows the outcome of the transaction to the customer.

• Below are the values that the "operationResult" field can assume when using 3D Secure Payment mode:
  • AUTHORIZED
  • EXECUTED
  • DECLINED
  • PENDING
  • THREEDS_FAILED
  • DENIED_BY_RISK
  • FAILED
• At any time, you can use the GET /orders/{orderid} or GET /operations/{operationid} APIs to check the transaction status.
